1. Check whether your flight uses IST or SAW
Istanbul Airport (IST) is on the European side of the city; Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) is on the Asian side. They require different pickup arrangements. Send the airport code, flight number and local arrival date with your request.
2. Choose a transfer, hourly hire or daily hire
A point-to-point transfer suits a journey from the airport to one address. If you want to stop at several locations and keep a driver available, compare hourly chauffeur hire or daily car hire with a driver. Tell the team about planned stops before the quote is confirmed.
3. Match the vehicle to passengers and luggage
Compare the vehicle options: E-Class, S-Class and BMW 7 Series sedans; Vito and V-Class passenger vans; or a Sprinter for a larger group. Actual passenger capacity and boot space vary by the assigned vehicle. List large cases, cabin bags, strollers and bulky items. Child seats and accessibility equipment require confirmation.
4. Confirm meeting and waiting arrangements
Ask where to meet, how to contact the team after arrival and how long the agreed waiting period lasts. Provide the flight number and check the policy for delays, cancelled flights or a changed airport. Do not assume every delay or waiting period is free.
5. Review the whole quote
Check the total price, currency, vehicle, route, included stops, waiting, tolls and parking. For longer bookings, confirm hours, distance and extra-time charges. Review payment and cancellation conditions. A low starting price is not a substitute for a quote that describes your journey.
6. Leave time for the airport journey
Road time varies with traffic, pickup address and route. For an outbound flight, work backwards from the airline’s recommended airport arrival time. For an IST–SAW airport change, allow for baggage collection, arrival procedures, road travel and the next flight’s check-in and security requirements. Check connection arrangements with the airline.
